Playwright, screenwriter and librettist Doug Wright most recently wrote the legal drama The Burial, directed by Maggie Betts and starring Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee Jones, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival before its release on Prime Video. He is currently co-writing the book with Will Powers for the Broadway revival of Damn Yankees, directed and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo and slated to premiere on Broadway in Spring 2027.
